  • The Building

    Every MAAS Wedding booking includes access to the full building and all our spaces, from 11am - midnight. We also offer overnight packages.

  • Wedding Packages

    We work with coordinators Philly DIY Wedding to provide a set of flexible packages, designed to give you exactly the level of support you need.

  • In-House Inventory

    MAAS has most everything you need for your event. Our extensive in-house inventory includes seating, tables, AV equipment and lighting.

  • Catering Kitchen

    MAAS offers two catering spaces: a classic indoor kitchen with professional convection oven, as well as a summer kitchen with wood-fired pizza oven.

At MAAS, we are open to all and we particularly love bringing in local talent. You are welcome to use the vendors of your choice, provided they comply with MAAS Building policies. The list of Recommended Caterers below are those we have enjoyed working with in the past and have an understanding of our space.

about MAAS

The Maas Building, originally built in 1859 as the Charles Maas Brewery, later became a trolleycar repair shop for the Girard St trolley line. In 2008, the building had fallen into disrepair and was in use as storage for an architectural salvage business. A giant hole in the roof had caused a lot of water damage and one of the main trusses had failed. The original facade was boarded up.
